Flashbacks

Memories of 2019:

It's hard for me to believe that another year has come and gone so quickly... But I am grateful for the many unforgettable moments I was able to share among the most incredible people ever!!! Here are some of my highlights that I'd love to if not briefly share with you all right now (if you don't mind at all?!?!)

#iLegitMissBigBangSoMuch

It is at times emotionally difficult for me to imagine this legitimate sitcom will never come back on my television screen with new episodes--- but it forever has a special spot in my heart. I definitely miss all of those characters so much and their relationships with each other-- which to someone like me meant everything than most people would ever think. It has literally given me a reason to feel so much better with the fact I am slightly different than others around me, but I know this legit sitcom gave me reasons to smile and laugh whenever I needed to feel happy again. #MoreAboutThisLater

#UtahMissAmazing19

It has truly become an absolute dream come true and getting to have a year of service, has given me chances to make new friendships with so many people, learning to stretch myself in ways that I did not ever think were possible and giving back to others in the community has made me realize how much of an impact I can make in this world. I have definitely grown into a better person in ways I never would have expected myself to which I can only hope what the rest of my reign as the Miss Queen will look like from this point on?!! #ThreeAndAHalfMonthsLeft

#CupofCuoco2020

Alright--- I legitimately watch one of the cast members from the sitcom I mentioned earlier had an amazing idea to create themselves a talk morning show titled what my hashtag is in this blog post :) It has been so much fun for me to get a little better acquainted with someone that I may never get to meet in my lifetime, but getting to know them better not only BC they have such unconditional love for animals--which I will admit is just nothing short of incredible!!! I also have loved watching episodes of their show when they are surrounded by their furry friends and being a dog lover myself--- I cannot help but feel so much respect for them as an individual. This person who played one of my many favorite characters on the Big Bang Theory for twelve amazing seasons--- (Yes, The one and only Kaley Cuoco!!!) I'd love to meet her in person one day if I could and sincerely express my gratitude for all that she continues to do--- I may not have ever rescued any animals myself whatsoever, but knowing that there is someone in the world who would do anything to give them a better life really touches my heart. If you haven't watched or checked out her amazing talk show titled #CupofCuoco, I would recommend this to anyone that needs a little boost of positive feelings in their life!!!

Untitled Post

YESTERDAY AFTERNOON----My twin sister and I along with our best friend Maria spent the day together at our friend Danielle's house for a little Christmas party!!! We always have such a blast with each other and getting to make new memories on a yearly basis if not more often than not. After all of us arrived at our together, We opened up gifts from one another which I will admit was definitely one surprise after the next--- But loved getting into the holiday spirit. My twin sister and I decided that we wanted to surprise our friends with a David Archuleta calendar... which if you must know happens to be our most favorite singer of all time!!! :)

Once all of that was completed-- We headed out to the movie theater and went to see the well loved new animated film Frozen 2!!! It was truly one of the most fantastic sequels yet and could not help but have a little bit of tears in my eyes during a scene that I didn't know was going to happen. I was very grateful to have shared that moment with my best friends and enjoyed laughing till each of our hearts were tired!!

Shortly after we left the movie, We headed over to a Mexican place for dinner and enjoyed getting to visit with each other even more!!! It was truly so much fun talking about how much we loved Frozen two and sharing stories that I am pretty certain will never be forgotten into the eternities...but whose still not laughing about them to this day?!?! There is not ever a dull moment between us whatsoever and always make it an effort to have a fun time with one another. #ThereIsOnlyMoreToCome.

Charity Event

It was truly one of the most heart-warming experiences ever as I participated alongside with my other pageant queen sisters in a service project with a non profit organization called "The Page That Gives" and what an incredible opportunity it turned out to become. I was very grateful for the remarkable & amazing families who stepped inside of our room looking around each among hundreds of cuddly stuffed animals to take home with them. I really enjoyed getting to see the little kiddos faces simply light up with excitement and it was a little bit tricky not talking with them as much as I would have liked to, but knowing I could make their holiday season a little brighter touched my heart. All of us collected as many stuffed animals as we could possible for this event--but ended up with over 100 more than we needed to have, but to me I was more than pleased that we could bring some holiday cheer to each family who entered into our station!!! I may not have known neither of these families at all whatsoever-- but I was more than determined to bring a smile and understanding of what it means to give back to other people who may not be so fortunate as we are. I really appreciated getting to just be there not only as a pageant queen but a volunteer that could make a difference in the lives of others in some way or another.

#NightToShine2020 - The Genesis Project

I am truly grateful for this upcoming worldwide prom event for thousands of individuals with special needs and being simply reminded about God's love for us-- is such an absolute wonderful thing. I just genuinely love spending time with all of my best friends and making memories that continuously last forever no matter how many times we keep returning back to this event. I will definitely be certain to have more stories after this event comes to an end in a few weeks and cannot wait to share all of them with you!!!

Last Weekend

#LightTheWorldCampaign2019

There are legitimately so many people that I could name off who have been examples to me of Christ like service, but unfortunately it would take me forever to individually express my gratitude towards all of them right now. I would like to send a brief shout out to my cousin Hailey Bates whose at one time or another reached out to me and my twin sister, to join her for ice cream as well as visiting with each other to catch up on life. She is truly the epitome of what it means to be kind & making others feel good about themselves--(which I know to me and my twin sister) continues to means everything to us. I am not particularly certain if she must have had other things going on when she reached out to my mom about us getting together and since we never see each other that much, it was definitely one experience that I will hold onto for the rest of eternity. I love her so much and feel incredibly lucky to have such an amazing example like her to strive to look up to as much as I can.

#OnlyFifteenMinutesLate

It was definitely one of the most unforgettable experiences that will forever hold a special place in my heart. I've obviously attended a David Archuleta Christmas concert before and loved every time that he was able to share what the meaning of the season is to him personally. I genuinely just loved watching him perform a song that I have mentioned on here already-- titled: "My Little Prayer." No kidding when I admit that listening to him perform that song was truly a reminder to me, about how we should never forget or postpone a promoting when we get one. The entire concert was more than just a performance that me and my friends had so much fun at---We were able to be reminded about what the holiday season is celebrating all throughout each of the songs he did for us. Even if I didn't relate to any of the personal experiences he shared with the audience, I was definitely able to feel the spirit multiple times and not lose sight of what this month is about no matter what kinds of problems or battles we've had to up with along the way.

#SeriousArchieFever2019

It was definitely such a treat getting to spend time with my friends and talking nonstop about how much we genuinely adore our favorite singer/songwriter!!! I absolutely loved getting to laugh until our hearts were completely tired-- but I mean there was no question about it for even a second :) It always get into the holiday spirit when we attend a Christmas concert and not to mention-- all of us wore our legitimate David Archuleta shirts from the last time we saw him perform here in Utah. We also got our picture taken with one of the audience members and it was definitely a random moment, but enjoyed getting to feel the excitement we had with our favorite singer!!! :)
