Adaptive Needs Institute Classes (Spring 2026)

I am grateful for the opportunity to participate along with my friends in our adaptive needs institute classes several days a week. I truly love this gospel with all of my heart and know there is not even anything else in this world that compares to the blessings that have come from living it everyday as difficulties of life are thrown into my path.

It's been such a wonderful experience for me to get away from things in the world and focus on what is really important in my life. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ so much more than words could ever possibly say and I am grateful for the direction, comfort, peace, unconditional love, joy he continuously brings in my life on a regular basis. I am so blessed to be one of his beloved daughters and knowing that no matter the obstacles that show up without notice he will always be there.

Night To Shine 2026 (Worldwide Prom)

This anticipated event is truly one of the highlights that me and my friends are excited to participate in every single year!!! We love getting dressed up fancy in sparkling dresses, wearing beautiful make up, among being treated like royalty and of course staying up way too late makes it an evening that we will never forget. I really do wish there was one of these events held in Utah County and not so far away in Ogden---but I am excited to once again be a part of a worldwide movement where people with special needs are celebrated for who they are!!!

SNAP Activity - Lego Night (?)

I am not particularly certain if this will be the same exact activity we had last year or if it will be slightly different in one way or another. I am definitely looking forward to another unforgettable night with my friends that I have missed being around for some time and cannot wait to participate in more amazingly planned out activities with everyone!!! SNAP has significantly improved over the last few years and I am really keeping my fingers crossed that one of these activities will be a surprise for not only me but everyone involved which if you ask me is a whole different story. #IYKYK.

BYUWBB Game - Texas Tech (Two Weeks Away)

I am not quite sure what this unforgettable night has in store for us and yet I really hope that our team will come out with a successful win at home!!! I am really hoping to have a chance to visit with TWO of the young woman whose examples to me are second to none when it comes to perservering through life and remaining focused on what is up next. I really hope all three of us can get a picture taken with each other as well as asking their permission to tag them in it if they will allow me to.... but if not I am going to respect them one hundred percent for it. I really want to give them both BIG hugs shortly after the game ends and celebrating another BIG twelve victory if we end up with one that I know our team will do everything in their power to make it happen. #NewPostComingSoon.

Active Re-Entry (Halloween Treat Bag)

This IL Center reached out to me several back about participating on their Zoom activities and for me at the time, to even think it was something I wanted to do made me feel a little nervous. I was not necessarily sure about whether or not I felt like I was intruding on their activities and getting in the way of what they were putting in a lot of effort into planning. I'm gonna be participating this next week for their Halloween Movie Day and I am curious to know what movie we will be watching to get all of us into the Halloween spirit before we actually celebrate the holiday--but also hope that everybody will have a great time too!!

Ability First Utah (Halloween Party)

Until I have a costume picked out for this in person activity-- I will most definitely have pictures taken to share on my Instagram account. I do know that there will be various activities going on as well like- a photo booth, costume contest, trunk or treat among other things, but at the same time-- I am not sure about whether or not we will be able to make it. I can only hope our plans will work out smoothly and have the most unforgettable time ever...(especially since this will be the first in person activity that has taken place since life was turned upside down.)

10 emotion quotes | Heartfelt Love And Life Quotes

I've had such a complete whirlwind of mixed emotions from this past week and little do I have any idea about what I'm getting myself into. It has been a little bit crazy spending time online with various people and trying to communicate to each other, what needs to be taken care of so that nobody feels like they are being left out in the dust. I know there are many amazing people behind me who will continue keeping a smile on my face and making certain that I can set an example for others, long after I leave from both of my council duties are finished.

With my new leadership roles that I'll take on this year, I am slightly concerned about not trying to take any of the feedback from anyone to heart. I know my sensitive side will be easily noticed from people & trying to make certain that I can keep it in tact may be a little difficult. I have certainly felt overwhelmed by all of the adaptions that I will need to make in order to stay professional--but not let any of the littlest reminders open up any wounds. Life has been such an emotional roller coaster for me this year alone and if there is anything I can focus on--is just simply balance out my typical fun side with being a good youth member of the Utah Statewide Independent Living Council.

After being emotionally drained two years ago upon returning back home--- I can only hope with all of my heart that this does not end up revisited again!!! Originally I had looked forward to being there and away from the damage life had been putting me through--but I do think this next time around is gonna turn out a lot better!!!!

Sparkled Out

Unleash your inner sparkle | Inspirational quotes, Neon signs, Unleash

Utah Developmental Disabilities Council (First Virtual Meeting)
I've genuinely never wanted to keep away from this in any blog post and quite frankly with the new opportunities that I'll have in front of me...It will only give me more chances to share my ambitious and bubbly personality with others. I am grateful for this amazing experience of a lifetime and can't wait to learn as many things as I can possible about the disability world. It is definitely going to be a new adventure for me to take on as I try to give my input on things and what should be happening in the next several months ahead...which I know is either gonna strengthen me or wear me down. I am confident things will turn out a lot more fun than I would have least expected them to, but I know it's just a matter of giving it my best shot before anything becomes official.

Youth Leadership Committee (Elections)

TOMORROW MORNING---I have another virtual call with this committee to elect a new chair and there are countless thoughts running inside of my head. I am not even sure if someone like me could emotionally handle the load that would be on their shoulders or if I am even the kind of advocate or candidate that my group would like to be take over things?! All of this new stuff has been surreal in more ways than one and quite swamped with knowing how I could take on another task--which if I must admit could either lead me into a direction I need to be in or who knows?? Maybe I have a lot more that I need to keep learning from such incredible people who go above and beyond in making dreams turn themselves into a reality.

Post Virtual NINJA Con 2020 (Mentor Spotlight)

One of the most heartfelt moments for me was getting to speak for a minute about what leadership means to me on a personal level. It was legitimately not something I had practiced being emotional over by any means whatsoever--but somehow prior to me talking about the subject: (I'd mentioned that I am the crier of the group just so everybody would know that & then preceded to read off my paper what leadership meant to me.) It was such an emotional moment for me to share what was in my heart with everybody who participated on the conference with us--but also realizing I may not ever know when my next chance would be to mentor a NINJA Conference again!!! Only time will tell with that legitimate part of my life and how things are going to lie down with it--but I'm more than willing to lend a helping hand in anyway that I can possible.

Ground Zero

AfterSeptember11: Experiences of racism & Islamophobia after 9/11

(Old Story - Summer 2012)

EIGHT YEARS AGO----I visited the big apple with my mom, older sister and her husband which I will admit ended up being a very unforgettable trip for me. (Minus the fact we tagged along with them because they were going to be dancing in a ballroom competition at the hotel we were staying at which was so legitimately nice if you ask me!!!) I really liked getting to walk around the sites that people have either seen on television before or has gotten toured millions of times. I truly liked walking around the 911 Memorial and Museum-- looking into the clear glass cases with pieces of rubble that was salvaged up from that unfathomable/tragic day. I remember looking at all of those endless names of victims who put their lives on the line, so that I could still be here today. I couldn't even believe this happened to a country that does not see violence or let alone any form of terrorism to pull us apart. I know this is the nineteenth anniversary of a day that nobody wanted to see happen or let alone watch unfold on their television screens, but life has been able to continue forward even during the hardest of times. None of these individuals knew what was gonna happen the next day and then only come to find

This unthinkable act of terrorism on our country was like anything I'd ever seen before. It was such a horrific time for me as a young person to think--"Why would this ever happen? How did so many thousands of peoples lives have to be taken away for no reason whatsoever?! Why did those airplanes have to be hijacked by terrorists only to find out people's lives would be gone in an instant and all because they do not live in a free country?!!?!! Was this a complete accident or just something that would give us a reminder about how to treat other people?! Maybe it didn't click inside of my head like it does right now, but I am grateful for those who made it possible for us to enjoy our freedoms today. Let us never forget this September day of the lives who were lost in circumstances that nobody should have ever experienced and yet here we are--- remembering each and every person who did whatever they could to save themselves as well as those they did not know were going to not make it back to their families. Never take life for granted and while we are living in this unprecedented time in 2020, let us not ever loose sight of the fact we need to hold our loved ones a little tighter & snuggle them a little more often than we usually ever would. Life is gonna continue throwing endless struggles in and no matter the circumstances we ever find ourselves up against--Plz keep in mind that as long as we remember what is most important everyday, We can make it just through about whatever gets put into our path.

Personal Escape

The Secret Journal of Brett Colton - Kindle edition by Mangum, Kay Lynn. Religion & Spirituality Kindle eBooks @ Amazon.com.

This young adult novel is about a teenage girl named Kathryn who is constantly tired of her family chatting non stop about her older brother Brett as if he were perfect. Kathryn also has got another struggle on her hands with tutoring the football star Jason West, who unbeknownst or even to make things a little worse, He is also a Mormon. And she is tutoring him for their Honors English class-- which if it were me I'd be a little nervous let alone not sure what to do!!! She decides to give it a chance after all and whenever he brings up the subject of religious talk-- Kathryn's parents let alone her family is not at all too thrilled about it.) Without going into much more details about this, She is handed this secret journal filled with personal letters written to her from the older brother that she never got to know... but comes to learn so much from reading about his journey with chemotherapy treatments. I may not ever know what it must have been felt like to read through those letters and not having any idea with how much life would have easily turned upside down.

Safe Haven (Tetonia, Idaho)

Whenever I've experienced anything hard in my life--(minus this year alone) I always wanted to be able to have an escape to a place where I could get access into and enjoy the beauties of nature. I truly loved being able to spend quality time at my dad's five generation family cabin located in the small town of Teton County. These past two years, I have legitimately felt so much peace in my heart and being reminded about the simplicity of life and if you have not seen the unbelievable view of the Tetons and if you ask me--they are an absolute sight to see in person!!! I really wish this special place was a lot closer to home and not so far away--but at the same time, I know it would not be the same if it was here in Utah as opposed to being in Idaho. I cannot wait to return back there next year and when there is no more unexpected craziness going on in the world & being able to think about the legacy my grandparents left behind for us.

Milestones (Part One)

#UVUInstituteClass

My twin sister and I started attending our adaptive needs institute class back in 2015--- which I will admit was one of the best decisions we ever made. It has been such a great experience for us to make new friendships with other people and learning as much as we can about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ on this earth. We have enjoyed being able to feel the spirit every week and remember what we came here to do, regardless of how difficult life was going to be sometimes. It's really given me a lot of opportunities to share my thoughts and experiences about what it means to live righteously as well as remember who we truly are!!! I am so grateful for the gospel in my life more than anything else in this world and I am not even sure how I'd make it through any hard time without it. I know it is what has continuously kept me on the straight and narrow path, even though there are consistent bumps in the road that we deal with every once in awhile. #ShareGoodness

#DDCouncilMembership2020

I originally applied to be on this committee in the spring of last year, but when I unexpectedly won my pageant title with the Miss Amazing organization--- I had to put on my spot on hold for a year. I definitely look forward to being more of an advocate and getting paid along the way too... but I can't necessarily get my high hopes for this at all. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this incredible organization and learning as much as possible about speaking up for myself, but as well as trying to make certain that young adults with disabilities have goals that are realistic. I am so excited about this new chapter in my life and whether or not it happens for me, I will just simply feel honored to have been given the privilege to do something that can impact this world. #ItsLegitimate

#MissQueenReign2019

It's truly been an absolute dream come true and cannot describe what an amazing experience it has turned out to be. I am truly grateful for the privilege it is to serve other people in anyway that I can possible and feeling like I was able to step out of my comfort zone, more than I usually ever would have imagined myself to do. When I heard my name called out as being the selected representative for this remarkable organization---I literally didn't know what to think or believe walking out onto the stage to receive my official title!!! I had never felt like pageantry was something I'd legitimately see myself do in this world, but it was most certain on my amazing bucket list and it has become an experience that I will hold close to my heart. #StayTunedForTheLegitimatePostAboutThisLaterOn

Hectic Times

2020 Census Training - Salt Lake City, Utah (Weekend)

I am definitely thrilled for this incredible opportunity as being part of the speakers network to learn some more information about the census is and how much it can impact the lives of individuals with disabilities. I am determined with trying my hardest throughout this new year to make sure everyone is aware of what this significantly means not only to somebody like me, but millions of other people most humans would see as not being capable to do anything---but let me tell you something else on here: "I will never sacrifice who I am in this world, because others have a problem with it." I am not like most people in this world who would much rather not have to deal with their struggles on a very regular basis, but I am grateful to know there is not a single person who feels like they should not be able to face their challenges head on with a smile. #MoreAboutThisLaterOn

LDS Insititute Class 2020 - Adaptive Needs

This has officially started up again for a new semester and have enjoyed almost every moment of it more than anything in the world. It has definitely reminded me of what is most important in my life every week and realizing that I am never alone in the trials or shortcomings I deal with. I'm grateful for the many blessings that continuously come into my life from living the gospel everyday and just recognizing the purpose I have on this earth. It has been such an incredible experience to share what continues to be so important in my life and remembering I can look to my Savior, Jesus Christ when ever I need to at any given moment.

Back To School (2 Days)

My post holiday break has officially ended-- but I am certainly anxious to get back over to the school and continue on with this remainder of the school year. I have missed all of my kiddos so much from when we left for the Christmas break and look forward to being with them again in a few days!! I am grateful for the relaxing two weeks I had to focus on what is most important during that time and just spending days with family was very much needed. I don't necessarily have much of anything like this to share with all of you today and can only hope for the best in whatever happens. #iLoveThirdGrade

Simply Amazing

I have mentioned this one too many times...but getting to speak at this mini girls retreat ended up being an experience that I would not soon forget. I was able to learn many things about believing in my self and persevering through any challenge that life throws at me. I certainly had a lot of nerves and mixed emotions out on the very high elevated challenge course, which to me at first didn't seem like that much of a big deal---but the more time went on my nerves kicked into gear. It was definitely so much stamina with being up way high in the air and not knowing what to think as I walked carefully across a somewhat wobbly bridge. Instead of me going into details about this, I'll just need to admit whenever anything in life challenges you in some way or another--Do not ever let yourself think it's too much to handle or that you can't achieve your goals.

Highlights from this experience:

- I absolutely loved speaking about my Miss Amazing pageant experience and motivating all of those girls to believe in themselves to try out new things. It was truly an incredible opportunity for me to let each of those girls know how you do not have to be a pageant queen whatsoever or participate in this event to make an impact in this world. I also had one of the girls after my presentation come up to me and mention that they are interested with doing the pageant--which was an absolute JOY to hear!!! It will definitely be one of the most amazing experiences ever and give you chances to stretch yourself in ways that you never imagined possible.

- Playing my favorite NINJA game of all time with everyone!!! It was truly one of the most amazing times ever and seeing what kinds of moves people came up with, just never ceased to impress me in more ways than one. I also really enjoyed getting to laugh and share stories with all of my brand new friends throughout the entire weekend so much!!! I definitely loved being able to enjoy this legit time with all of them more than words could ever say in a blog post-- but you all have the idea right?! I am grateful to have been a small part of this amazing experience and gotten a chance to learn something about trusting myself to do anything that I set my heart on. (For Your Information: I also really liked doing the archery shooting a lot & having one of my friends help me with it was a delight in so many ways!!! It really became a good stress reliever and letting some of my frustrations out with releasing an arrow was very much something I had not done in such a long time, but I loved being able to learn it alongside so many remarkable girls!!!)

Solution

After the last previous school year ended, I made one of the hardest decisions ever about being a little more stickler to keep my distance from someone and giving each other some space. It's truly not the easiest thing for me whatsoever, but there is no perfectly good reason that I can't see if this will end up working out. I am certainly more than determined to notice if anything else happens between now and when I return back to the elementary school at some point in time... that I can handle myself with no tears rolling down my face.

If you didn't check out some of my older blog posts about this experience in my life, I would not suggest that you read through it unless there is something you want to take away from them. I know as a self advocate in this world, telling my mom about how much I didn't want to see myself volunteer in any classroom with having made the biggest mistake of my life and not enjoyed a second of it. I couldn't even begin to describe what an absolute trial of my faith this was for me & getting my voice heard throughout is something I feel lucky to use whenever it is needed. I will never step inside of any classroom again left with mixed emotions and frustration that consistently wore off on me!! It will never happen as I move on from this unfathomable chapter and in hopes for a brighter/successful year ahead.
#MorePowerToHer.

NEXT MONTH--- will be the one year mark since my good friend Josh was unexpectedly called to his heavenly home. I know that his impression on me will never be forgotten and realizing what an absolute difficult past year it has been for me to not have him around--- does not ever fail to give me a push in the right direction whenever I need it the most. I am so grateful with having a testimony of the gospel in my life more than anything else in this world and knowing that my friend Josh is where he's needed most and cannot wait to greet him with open arms!!! #ItsOkayJustKeepSwimming

Special Needs Ballroom Event 2019:

My older sister created this unforgettable event almost a decade ago & cannot even imagine what my life would be like without it. I have continuously learned to understand for myself about how much of a joy it was for her to dance ballroom and making new friends while at it. It's almost surreal for me to think about how quickly time has come and gone from when this only began with a dozen people, but has continued to become a highlight of an event for so many spectators. I am grateful to have shown up the first day this event began and little did I know what an amazing part of my life, it would soon become down the road.

Not Back To School . . . Yet

I am determined more than ever with heading into this new school year, that every minute of it will be one that can either start off with a BANG or just simply be another chance for me to learn some new skills from the teachers I will get to work alongside with. I do know more than ever with all of the unfathomable situations I had last year, I am confident in not making that decision again any time soon. It has always been difficult for me in the beginning of each new school year, in not being there to meet my new kiddos for the first time-- but I am hopeful it will be a lot more relaxed, stress free and have a lot more adventures/stories to share!!!

Summer Break Continues - Part One

With all of the excitement and craziness in my life, I still have a lot of summer vacation where most of what I'd want to do is not gonna happen. Laugh Out Loud---I have a lot of new adventures in my life I am hopeful will either take place for me or simply give me a different chance in making sure I have my message shared with the rest of the world. I am not particularly certain what else this time in my life has for me down the road, but I am never gonna stop making my voice heard and not trying to draw attention from people. I know there is a lot more for me to learn and take away from all of those times I kept wondering if any moment could lift my spirits, but also show myself that I can do pretty much about whatever I set my mind to!!!

Big Bang Theory

Whenever one of my favorite shows on television comes to an end, it always leaves me with a sentimental feeling inside that cannot be described into words. I have truly loved being able to see these unique and special characters portray the funniest story lines ever... but also giving me a real chance to feel alright with myself. I have always struggled with being in social environments and it makes me almost want to not be a part of them anymore for various reasons. There is truly nothing more awkwardly uncomfortable for me as an individual, than to feel excluded by people who just only from what I perceive is something they would otherwise not have to deal with. That is clearly their problem and not mine to begin with if you ask me.... But this legit comedy show was able to give me an escape from the fact I am not like everybody else out there!!! It truly left an imprint in my heart that I know will never be replaced for many years to come and I cannot thank all of them nearly enough for the past decade they spent making all of their fans laugh.

I really loved this sitcom more than anything in the world & the laughs it gave me every single week was fantastic. I may never know what it feels to be an actress in the entertainment industry & just trying to find your place in the world is never short of an easy job. I absolutely cannot thank each of the remarkably talented cast whose jobs were to put smiles on our faces and share their expertise with the world of scientific knowledge, which never ceased to amaze me in more ways than one!!! I am so grateful for the message this popular hit sitcom shared with all of the fans, in recognizing we all have stuff about ourselves that we wish never effected us like they do on a regular basis.

I will greatly miss not being able to laugh out loud every week with these legitimate characters who never failed in putting me in a better mood & giving me a reason to look at life in a unique way. It's been really difficult as I think about the fact, this show will not have anymore new episodes to share with their fans and quite frankly... it will never be the same for me after this. I am grateful for all of the many reruns that will be on forever and continue to make me laugh whenever I need it during a very hard time.

Sheldon, Amy, Leonard, Bernadette, Penny, Howard & Raj:

Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, for letting me watch you on my television screen for so many years and bringing laughs to me that no other show could topple. I am truly grateful for your legitimate comedic talents, expertise knowledge about the world of science and not to mention- being like a second family in my own home. My life will never be the same again now that this great sitcom has concluded with a bang that I know will forever hold a soft spot in my heart. Thank you all for helping me to understand the importance of what it means to be different in your own skin and I'll admit even though I am not a scientific expert on anything--- I am forever grateful to have been a very small part of watching a show that not only made me laugh, but gave so many reasons to look at the brighter side of life everyday. I know each one of you will forever hold a special spot in my heart for many years to come and not to mention, when I watched the emotional last episode of this show-- "Big Bang Theory" it brought tears to my eyes and couldn't keep them from rolling down my face. It has been nothing short of extraordinary getting to watch the best of the best characters perform with their whole hearts and the time your crew put into making this sitcom into what it became, may never be something I will know about in person-- but I felt like a part of this amazing group of friends who didn't fail to make me laugh so hard that I couldn't breathe. I may have never attended a live taping of this show on CBS in the audience seats, I felt like just watching the show from home was almost as if I was really there in person seeing you fantastic actors/actress' do what you loved for almost a decade just reminded me of the good in this world. Like Sheldon mentioned in the final episode during one of the most heartfelt speeches ever, "In my own way... I love you all." I genuinely wish I could every one of you people this same exact line and instead with me trying to keep a smile on my face, nothing but tears of gratitude would stream down my cheeks. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for just simply being who you are and having a legitimate sitcom that always started off with a big BANG!!!!

Revived Story (Part Two)

The moment I'd step outside of that classroom door... My life could easily turn upside down and not feel like I ended up making the worst choice ever, but who is counting down the hours/minutes, let alone days here?! I've never wanted to come to this point with being a volunteer aide & in sense of how emotionally painful it will be to not help out someone who has played such an important role throughout the past several years. I have literally wanted to give up on trying as hard as I can with making it through this school year with my head held high, but not like this if you ask me!!! It has never made me want to question the reasons why I did choose to help out in such a difficult classroom with a group of kids who have taken time to get to know me, but others neglect without making me feel like a part of things. It must have been an absolute mistake on my part to think this was how I expected things to be throughout this year or otherwise it would've turned out so much different, but who am I kidding about this here?!?!

From what I was neglected to know with this experience is... I never prepared myself for the fear of unknown difficulty that only continues to push me over the edge and leave me in a position with not even a chance to make it the best of any obstacle that much easier. Sometimes, I am not particularly certain if this what needed to happen for me at all but there must be a logical reason for why it has never continued to make me have a peace of mind.

Never in my life I have gotten misunderstood for trying to advocate & speak my mind... This friend of mine knows that I don't hold anything back and cannot keep it hidden much longer, but I have to make a deal with myself to not let them find out. I will need to continue keeping it inside of me for as much as possible for the remainder of this school year if that can be pulled off until it drives me crazy to the point, where I am literally needing to get my mom involved & stand up for me in some way or another.

I have really not wanted to come across like the person who tries to draw attention with people & making a complete fool of myself... But I am so ready for a new year without much difficulties placed in front of me, also not having an acquaintance who makes me feel the last person they need in their classroom. I have really started to get tired of feeling like this all the time and throughout the last year alone, so much has weighed me into a person that does not deserve to be taught with learning from their mistakes, but to tell the straight/honest truth regardless of how it could make the other individual perceive me to become. I will forever have no doubt in my mind with how much I respect, love, admire and look up to this remarkable teacher who has worked tirelessly everyday with making it a positive, yet somewhat happy experience for me but it has been very little.

What more can I possibly do with turning this situation around?! Is there anything I can make an effort to accomplish & not have them sneaking around to figure it out for themselves?! I have tried my absolute best every single week with not knowing the unexpected twists and turns that would suddenly come up onto my door step on a regular basis, but like I've mentioned once already in this blog post--- who am I kidding about this situation here?!?! I cannot even begin to describe the pain behind that closed door and trying to not let the teardrops roll down my cheeks, with knowing they will not get wiped away without one of my hands right on my face. I know this teacher friend of mine will never be the person who tries to make me feel slightly better about the fact--- I haven't been able to get the full and most unforgettable experience of my life because they haven't gotten their act together without needing to make me feel less needed than usual.

Remembrance

Happy Two Year Friendversary, Josh!!! Life is certainly not the same without you around to talk and laugh with on a regular basis. It has really given me an opportunity to grow and learn from my experiences, just regardless of how difficult they can become sometimes for us. Life has seriously thrown me a lot of curve balls that I was not prepared to see coming and cannot wish for them to just immediately disappear.

I am grateful for the light you were in my life throughout all these years and wish you could be here to see all of the many unforgettable moments happening right now. I am really so incredibly grateful for your unconditional love, happiness, and a desire to just keep swimming whenever life felt almost unbearable than it should be.

You have truly made an impact on my life in ways that not even I can thank you enough for and I am eternally grateful to have a friend like you who continued to see the bright side of everything.

I know you are being well taken care of in a better place and teaching all of those who need to hear about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ on the other side. You have left an absolute legacy of unconditional love, happiness and a desire to just keep swimming whenever life feels too be a little more unbearable than it should be. I know you are inspiring those up in Heaven with your contagious smile and teaching them things they need to learn about how to strive harder each day.

I am grateful for your friendship as well as example in my life, more than anything else in this world has to offer. Thank you so much for all that you did to make this world a better place and one I can only hope will do you proud. It's been really hard for all of us to not wish you were still here and not to mention...being the absolute life of the party who never failed to make us laugh till our hearts were tired!! I'm grateful to know that one day, I will get that opportunity of seeing your smiling face again and catching up on life as much as possible. We love and miss you more than you could ever imagine!!!

As you can see from reading through this, I reached the two year mark from when me and my friend Josh became friends on Facebook. His contagious spirit of optimism is greatly missed in more ways than I could ever possibly describe into words right now... but I know it will live on forever into the eternities. It has been such a difficult time in my life, not wishing there was a way to bring you back here... but I have no doubt our Heavenly Father needed you back in his presence more than anything. I know he needed you to continue serving for those on the other side who want to learn from such a remarkable person like yourself. I am grateful for the opportunity that I will have to hang out with you in Heaven and cannot wait for that big hug of yours too!!!!
