When The Rain Falls (Part Two)

THREE YEARS AGO----I accidentally made one of the biggest mistakes that anybody in this society could ever learn from and knowing the permanent consequences left me feeling extra cautious whenever it comes to being around people within the disability community. I literally remember waking up shaken in the middle of the night and recognizing for the first time with my nervous system quietly reacting to a pyschological trigger with feeling out of breath among other symptoms. I knew in my heart that the Lord was going to help me see his hand in all of this uncertainty at the time and wanted more than anything to learn how my life was going to be years after.

I never meant to hurt the individual who now more than ever knows I made a fool of myself and wanted to immediately see this be erased. As I continued to process for months on what needed to be done, I did feel completely at peace after having kneeled down on my knees while pleading to my Heavenly Father to help me learn from this mistake and give me the comfort I really needed at the time. I knew my mistake would only continue to stick with me as I slowly moved forward with the reality of this experience. I genuinely did not mean to put the individual through all of this on purpose but yet it was something I knew the Lord was going to lovingly remind me about on a consistent basis and coming to terms with the loss of what I'll admit was not a socially appropriate relationship. I cried one too many times over this because the pain of what happened between me and the individual who was only doing their best in a very difficult leadership role I was extremely nervous about them going into.

LONG STORY SHORT----I started listening to the lyrics of what this song means to me on a personal level and have realized that I am only human. I even apologized for not having turned out to be what I perceived to be as the perfect colleague in their eyes and I was unable to do that for them. I felt almost vulnerable with wanting to see their face on a computer screen or let alone in person for a treacherous period of time and yet I knew it was the harsh reality I needed to live with. I obviously have no clearer idea about when they will ever regain my trust not only as a governor appointed entity council member and knowing I am forever left with the emotional scar of my inexcusable actions. Did any of this have to do with the fact that I have a genetic learning disorder... I am one hundred percent certain that it did and no matter how many short comings I have in life, I know the lessons behind this taught me what it means to be a professional at all times. I will admit it has been an emotional rollercoaster for me to keep my mouth shut and not want to share anything with them trying my hardest to not feel imtimdated by their way of maturity when it comes to processing your emotions.

It was literally one of the hardest times in my life and sometimes wish if I did not have FXS that I could have this erased completely. However, I know it will never be something I can undo or disappear with a magic wand if I even had access to something like that. I have contemplated many times about how I am going to be extra careful in making sure I never put someone else I really like into something such as this unfortunate situation. I am grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ for lovingly reminding me that he would never abandon one of his children in a trial of their faith and the moment I handed this to him----there was a sudden peace in my heart that everything would be okay. I knew it was going to take a lot of time on my end with getting to a point where I was able to see the light at the end of the tunnel while recongizing that tears are the same when we are trying to grow something good--there is a difference between the teardrops and the rain. Think about the teardrops along with rain being vital to washing away pain and fostering good character that all of us want to pursue in this mortal life. I am just someone who despite their visible struggles with a genetic learning disorder know from time to time it will hit me that I am not necessarily like everybody else. I obviously may not make legitimate eye contact with people or capable of carrying on with any kind of conversation or let alone feeling a little out of place when it comes to things that life hands over to me.

Reenacted Stories

LAST NIGHT----My twin sister and I along with our best friends participated in a very unforgettable SNAP (special needs activity program) event that I know I will forever keep close to my heart. Everyone was divided up into three separate groups to reenact stories from the Book of Mormon and let me tell you it was such a spiritual experience that I really needed in the midst of a very hard time.

AFTERWARDS----All of us gathered into the relief society room and watched as every one of the groups performed their stories from the Book of Mormon for everybody to watch. I did really like the creativity that went behind every single one of the stories and getting a lot of laughs and smiles from people who were in attendance. I was physically not feeling all too good while at this activity and literally doing my best to hold back teardrops from falling down my eyes.

One of the most spiritual parts for me about this activity was walking into the cultural hall where it was dimly lit so you could still kind of see what was in front of you, but there was a big picture from the book of mormon projected onto the overflow curtains. At this time, I did not even have an clue about what was going on and noticed there were pictures of the Savior placed nicely on tables. I still didn't know what was happening while we patiently waited for everybody to get settled down and then the next thing I knew we heard this voice come on the overhead speakers quoting scripture.

LONG STORY SHORT----One of the SNAP leaders arranged either through the church or Motion Picture studios to have an actor with a spotlight on him decipting the Savior. I felt the spirit testify to me in this spiritual moment that Jesus Christ lives and directs his church in these latter days. This actor walked out in front of everybody and asked if anyone that did feel comfortable with him blessing as well as healing us. I did not hesitate for a second as he walked up in front of me and my friends to perform this miracle, I hopped out of my seat to wrap my arms around him in this big hug where in that moment I had completely forgotten about all of the physical pain I was experiencing. I obviously was not healed in that moment but knew in my heart our loving Savior was gonna walk with me every step of the way and I know he will continue to do throughout my life.

This whole experience was truly one of the most profound things that I had ever been a part of and knew that our Savior loved me more than I could ever describe into words. I also in the most gentle way laid my head down on his shoulder while everyone in the crowd out of the blue started to cheer and instantly began giving me a round of applause. I quietly said out loud that "This must be what Heaven is going to be like for all of us when we get there and I can hardly wait to meet my Savior when that day arrives."

In this very moment---I felt like the Lord was going to take me by the hand and lead me to where I needed to be on the covenant path back to my heavenly home. I knew in my heart that no matter the circumstances we are ever up against in our lives I am never going through it alone. I was able to have my faith in him provide me a sense of hope that he is in the details of just not only my life, but in all of the many lives of every single one of his beloved children.

Favorite Song

 I made my choice.

You can mark this day. The day I pledge to take his name. I will be strong. I will be brave. Standing for him as I take my place. I felt the spirit burn truth in my heart. It's in my heart.

And I will stand, I will not fall in a world that's weak I will be strong. I will be true, I will choose his way yeah, I know what's right and I will not change.

In a world where so many will not, I will.

I may be one but one becomes two when you stand with me and I stand with you, and as we unite our cause is great we're not just the candle, we are the flame.

And I will take the light he gives me and I'll hold it up high, I'll hold it up high. And I will stand, I will not fall in a world that's weak I will be strong. I'll be true, I'll chose his way yeah, I know what's right and I will not change. In a world where so many will not, I will.

I will stand, I will not fall in a world that's weak I will be strong. I'll be true, I will choose his way yeah, I know what's right and I will not change. In a world where so many will not, I will. I will.

LAST NIGHT---I listened to this song performed by Hilary Weeks and could not help but want to write up about it here on my blog for all of you. I certainly love the message it gives us about standing with our Savior and reminding ourselves to be an example to those around us. I am grateful for the opportunities when I get to stand by him while on keeping on the covenant path. I have definitely gone through experiences with people when I had to stand up for what was right in a moment, when it was almost too easy to speak up and get the situation under control. Without going into more details about this, I love that this song here gives me the hope when I am an example of Jesus Christ---I will be able to overcome anything that life throws in my path. Hilary Weeks - Hero

Out of all the heroes in my life, I am truly grateful for my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ and how he rescued me through a time when I needed it most. He was able to calm my heart and give me the reassurance that I knew was not going to come from anyone else other than him. He reminded me of who I am in his eyes & no matter how many more times I mess up, he will take care of the rest. I am grateful for the peace he was able to bring to my mind as I kneeled down on my knees to have a conversation with him and knowing he still loved me so much was incredibly comforting. He was able to provide me a much greater perspective on what I needed to do going forward & not just simply relying on what I thought needed to happen given the circumstances of my situation.

EARLIER THIS WEEK---My twin sister and I along with our best friends got ourselves together to make a card for one of our best friends who is going through a lot in their life right now. I am not going to share any of the details here about what has occurred since I last posted, but it was overall something we knew needed to be done. I cannot even describe how much of a blessing it has been for us to join together and hope our best friend receives the help they need to feel better. I am especially grateful that we were able bring some light into the situation that is taking place and know through our Savior, Jesus Christ things will fall into place.

It probably won't be in the papers

It won't be talked about in the morning news

And you and heaven might be the only ones

Who ever know all the good that you do.

You've never done it for the glory

You're not looking for fame

And you and I both know it's never gonna

make you wealthy

But you give just the same.

At the end of the day

I can't help but wonder if you know

You're a hero

Quietly changing one life at a time

You may never know what a difference

You've made in mine

I hope someday you'll see

You're a hero to me.

You give everything that you have

And then you keep on giving

You always know what to say

And you know when to make us laugh

And when to let us cry

Your faith gives us faith

To the soul that is lost

To the weak and the weary

You're heart is a home

You're a hero

A friend to the lonely

A light in the dark

You may never know

What a blessing you are

Maybe someday you'll see

You're a hero to me

We may not speak the words

But they'll see it in our eyes

They'll see it in our eyes

You're a hero

Quietly changing one life at a time

You may never know what a difference

you've made in mine

I hope someday you'll see

You're a hero to me

You're a hero to me.

As you can see from reading this post, I am blessed to have many heroes in my life who have provided me strength when I needed it the most and cannot thank them nearly enough for that. I know that each of our lives will have their ups and downs, but knowing how to overcome those hurdles with faith and courage to do better in all things. We may never understand sometimes the trials that we are handed to in our lives, but they will make us stronger and more determined than ever before. These last couple of weeks have not been easy for me or my friends, but we have definitely gotten through it together with each other's support to help us along the way. I am grateful to have them as my heroes among so many others who continuously make me want to see the good in life and never give up on the potential I do have my dreams come true!!!

Blog - 8 Reasons Why You Should Do What You Love For a Living

Secretary Duties (Part One)

I've written all of my agenda items down for the next Youth Leadership Committee Meeting that will be taking place next week. I'm extremely nervous about how my peers are gonna take all of the many notes that I took from the previous meeting before and not knowing if they will be appreciated whatsoever!! It does make me feel slightly uncertain if this new leadership position is even for me at all or if I just make this into a complete and utter mess!!!! I know things once our meeting agenda begins to get discussed and what not--I can only hope it will be received in a very mature and respectful manner.

It is definitely such a new experience for me to do stuff like this and yet I feel like anything that happens in my life is only going to make me a better person/leader/self advocate, overall someone who is going to take their new position seriously enough that I am not gonna feel like such a complete and utter fool because I am not able to handle what the tasks are at hand. I am fairly aware of the fact being the note taker goes legitimately underappreciated than it should be, but unless I can give myself a chance to learn and understand what this new leadership role is gonna do for me down the road--There is not any kind of reason for me to not give this a shot only to see what the outcome is. #ReadyOrNot #SecretaryNerves

LONG STORY SHORT--- My good friend Josh was called back to his heavenly home two years ago tomorrow and life has not been quite the same without him. His complete zest for life never ceased to amaze me in more ways than one and learning when you focus on the positive things-- it can make ya realize how much more grand life can become. I am grateful for the opportunity that I had of knowing such a wonderful person that never once complained about his struggles and obstacles in their way---- but if you ask me, I know the imprint my friend Josh left on my heart is not going anywhere any time soon. I cannot wait to see him again in the next life and can only hope he will continue teaching many more people about the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Other News:

Life this past week hasn't necessarily turned out as legitimate and wonderful as I would have liked it to be. I have struggled with trying to ask myself this very difficult question: Why is it that bad things are happening to good people?!!! I may never know the reasons behind any situation that life throws at me or let alone other people, but all we can do is continue to be supportive and caring towards them. With out going into much detail about this and because it is not my personal business to share-- I've simply made a decision to keep out of it completely without trying to ponder on it too much.

Splendid

Thanks to my diligent heartfelt prayers--- Our stake relief society social was an absolute success and could not have pictured it to be any much more incredible. I am grateful for the many sisters who did take time out of their busy lives to attend & reflect on what this time of year is about. After everyone got themselves settled into the pavilion and were able to have our activity begin-- I could not help but think the many people who have not only been a part of my life for many years, but continuously just make an effort to keep an eye out for me.

Favorite Highlights:

- Enjoyed a delicious meal and being inspired by the tender story of "The Giving Tree." It was truly such a reminder to me about what this time of year is about & even though it was a chilly evening-- there was never a dull moment to be shared.

- I also loved how we didn't have any rainfall or snow coming down throughout our activity-- which was one of the biggest worries I had prior to this event taking place. I was forever grateful when the sunshine came out and warmed up things a little bit-- (Not to mention the decorations were amazing in more ways than one!!!)

- I ended up choosing to stay after the event was over and helped to collect salt/pepper shakers that were placed on the tables. It was so much fun getting to contribute with this event in some way and making the clean up process slightly easier was more than just an absolute treat!!! I liked getting to take some of the goodies home with me and not to mention having gotten a ride from an incredible friend whose also our wonderful Stake Relief Society president.

Mellowed Out

After how emotional and difficult this school year has turned out to be, I do have to believe that me along with the teacher finally were able to mellow out and not focus so much on the stress I've just had to sit back to watch from a corner. I've really struggled with trying to make a decision on if this experience is one to want another chance for because I strongly do not feel like it would be right to have a school year that puts my faith to the test and not come across as the last person that anyone should feel worried about at the end of the day.

Aside from this trial of my faith, I am determined with all of the power in my heart to make the best of it throughout the remainder of this year. I am certainly hopeful this school year ends on a brighter note than it did when all of this began and quite frankly...I am determined for an outcome that does not leave me in a tough position any much longer!!!!

Personal Vents:

Maybe the both of us were a little hard on ourselves... and possibly just not sure what to expect from the fact we could not meet eye to eye with each other. I really felt like it was a mistake having made any effort to step inside of that classroom and thinking it would be an incredible opportunity for me, to get to know all of those students-- but few of them have noticed that I come in every week. I feel like if this is how next year turns out to become, well I am sorry--but I don't know if I could relive another moment of unfathomable circumstances with anybody else.

Maybe I didn't know the frustration and pressure this individual would see themselves under, because if I tried to find any kind of need to encourage or help them feel better--- it has clearly at times I just simply wished I had never brought it up in the first place. I am not particularly certain if there was a lot more reasons behind all of this than what I am telling you right now, but I cannot wait for another opportunity to grow into a stronger, more confident and determined person.

Calmed Down (For Good?!)

Who knows if this is absolutely true or not... but I can only do whatever makes the teacher's life just slightly easier in some way, but I wouldn't think to get my hopes up as the rest of this year continues forward. Maybe I was not the person who deserved to be in this classroom at all, and sometimes I've tried to make the best of whatever I can in striving everyday to be a good volunteer. I know that my tasks are unnoticed in ways that I will never personally understand-- but I am hoping as long as I'm able to stick with what needs to be taken care of, I will feel more at peace with myself & remaining focused on the times it is helping me to come so much closer to my Savior, Jesus Christ. I am very grateful for his direction and hand in my life throughout what has become one of the hardest & not worth mentioning a very unfathomable period that I didn't prepare myself for. I know he would never give me anything that he knows I could not handle, let alone try to make disappear out of the blue. It's because of Him we can strive harder everyday to recognize the blessings that come from our difficult experiences and make the best of it in more ways than one.

Last Week Of Institute

It's been such an incredible semester getting to attend our special needs institute class & learn more about the gospel of Jesus Christ on a weekly basis. I am so grateful for the many memories that we shared with our classmates and sharing all of our personal testimonies about the Savior, because to me that has really made an impact on my life in more ways than one. I have definitely focused a lot more on the importance of what my purpose on this earth means and praying everyday to remember that I can make it through anything with the help of my Savior.

Continuation Of Events: (Repetitive Stuff)

Volunteering at Westridge Elementary School has progressed a little bit and hopefully that continues on as the remainder of this school year moves forward. I have really not quite figured out for myself how much this experience has not only turned into one of the hardest times ever, but somehow it has needed for me to become a stronger, confident individual and volunteer in too many ways to count. I am hopeful it will not continuously be a struggle or frustration on me anymore, but having admitted that on here--only leads me into a position with needing to keep my composure and have a smile on my face.

Aside from being the 2019 Miss Queen, I have certainly got so much on my mind all the time with trying to figure out how this new title works and making a good impression on those I come into a little bit of contact with. I have only blogged about my first appearance and will not try to share so much with you guys, only due to the fact that I do not want to find myself annoying people. I have definitely needed to keep my not so hectic schedule under control and hopefully have lots more of amazing stories to share throughout this reign of mine, down the road.

Weekend Highlights:

- Attended the BYU Ballroom Dance Concert at the Marriott Center & loved every single minute of it so much!!! I always enjoy getting to watch so many incredible performers give it their best on stage... as well as putting an unforgettable show for so many people.

- Worked on my speech for the next presentation I will be doing on Utah Valley University campus & making an effort to get my message across to people about how just because I'm different, does NOT mean I am not capable to live in an independent life everyday.

Remembrance

Happy Two Year Friendversary, Josh!!! Life is certainly not the same without you around to talk and laugh with on a regular basis. It has really given me an opportunity to grow and learn from my experiences, just regardless of how difficult they can become sometimes for us. Life has seriously thrown me a lot of curve balls that I was not prepared to see coming and cannot wish for them to just immediately disappear.

I am grateful for the light you were in my life throughout all these years and wish you could be here to see all of the many unforgettable moments happening right now. I am really so incredibly grateful for your unconditional love, happiness, and a desire to just keep swimming whenever life felt almost unbearable than it should be.

You have truly made an impact on my life in ways that not even I can thank you enough for and I am eternally grateful to have a friend like you who continued to see the bright side of everything.

I know you are being well taken care of in a better place and teaching all of those who need to hear about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ on the other side. You have left an absolute legacy of unconditional love, happiness and a desire to just keep swimming whenever life feels too be a little more unbearable than it should be. I know you are inspiring those up in Heaven with your contagious smile and teaching them things they need to learn about how to strive harder each day.

I am grateful for your friendship as well as example in my life, more than anything else in this world has to offer. Thank you so much for all that you did to make this world a better place and one I can only hope will do you proud. It's been really hard for all of us to not wish you were still here and not to mention...being the absolute life of the party who never failed to make us laugh till our hearts were tired!! I'm grateful to know that one day, I will get that opportunity of seeing your smiling face again and catching up on life as much as possible. We love and miss you more than you could ever imagine!!!

As you can see from reading through this, I reached the two year mark from when me and my friend Josh became friends on Facebook. His contagious spirit of optimism is greatly missed in more ways than I could ever possibly describe into words right now... but I know it will live on forever into the eternities. It has been such a difficult time in my life, not wishing there was a way to bring you back here... but I have no doubt our Heavenly Father needed you back in his presence more than anything. I know he needed you to continue serving for those on the other side who want to learn from such a remarkable person like yourself. I am grateful for the opportunity that I will have to hang out with you in Heaven and cannot wait for that big hug of yours too!!!!

Unforgettable Fan Encounter:

It was probably one of the most unexpected surprises throughout the concert and one that will hold a special spot in my heart. Before he started into the next Christmas song there, He was mentioning all about the merchandise table that we noticed as everyone walked into the building and little did me & my friends know what would happen next!!!

My twin sister lets out this squeal of excitement and let me tell you before we know it...all of us are responding to this with not knowing that David would genuinely respond with a smile on his face as well as saying Yeah to us from the stage!!!

All of us immediately started to laugh which is something that we all love to do, but this moment was not one we expected at all whatsoever. I am grateful for his sincerity in acknowledging us during that performance and with all of those people wondering what was going on, made it extra memorable for each of us!!!

December 10th, 2018 - Winter In The Air (David Archuleta)

I'm so excited for the unforgettable opportunity to watch my favorite singer perform LIVE in concert at the Utah Valley University UCCU Event center!!!! I am thrilled to be able to get back into more of the holiday spirit and remembering what this time of year is really about. I am very grateful more than words could ever say about how much my Savior, Jesus Christ has strengthened and lifted me when I've had difficulties along throughout this year. He has never once left me wondering if I could only hope for the best in just this one situation, but that I can always turn to him at any given moment. I am grateful it is never too late to see the brighter side of anything that happens in our lives and trying to keep that perspective with me at all times. I have really loved listening to David Archuleta's music throughout the last couple of months and remembering to look up, instead of the other way around. I love that he has a very powerful and angelic voice, that carries so amazingly well out into the audiences or crowds that he performs in front of all over the United States. He is truly become one of my most favorite singers out there, because he stays true to what he knows and believes in, spite of what others may think.

There will definitely be a blog post about this experience later on at some point, but I cannot wait for the memories that we will make together while attending this event. I know that music can inspire us to be a little better and give us a reason to look up whenever life becomes unbearable, in ways that we may not have expected. I know that it can uplift us with the powerful that is behind each of the lyrics in a song and resonating with us on a personal level, is just nothing short of incredible. I know from everything that has happened in my life is never gonna not help me become a stronger person in this world and in spite of how things have turned out, I know there is somebody who has stuck with me through it all. I know that he would never give me anything in life that none of us couldn't handle in during this mortal time here on earth, but at the same time it only continues to remind me that I will never be alone in my times of trials.

Favorite Songs:

- Christmas Every Day

- My Little Prayer

- Numb

- Shine a Light

- Cracks of Heaven

- Aiming for Hope

Each of these songs have inspired me to only see the best in myself and other people as well. I may never know what it feels like to be in someone else's position, but I do know that everything happens for a specific reason/purpose. I am grateful for the powerful that music can have in your life, when it feels like everything could not possibly get any worse, you have something that can help you escape from all the chaos in this world. If you ever need anything to brighten your day or let alone make you feel a little better about things in life, just listen to one of these songs and I can guarantee that it will bring a peace into your heart that you have never felt before in your life!!!

Gratitude - Part One

"Never let the things you want, make you forget the things you have."

This past year alone has literally been a very emotional and rewarding experience for me, in more ways than one. Some of the most unforgettable and hardest moments in my life have strengthened me into a better person as well as trying to strive everyday to become more like my Savior, Jesus Christ. I am grateful for everything that has given me a chance to reflect on the many blessings in my life, and if I can honestly admit--I wouldn't be the person I am today if it wasn't for those who have stuck with me through it all. I've had to really learn the hard way this last yer and a half about who my true friends are from those who never will be. It has never stopped me from wanting to express my gratitude for the many highs that this life has continued to show me, even if I didn't necessarily deserve it at the time.

I am immensely grateful for the examples of my friends who have kept me in their thoughts and prayers through out this year. All of you have literally made me want to strive harder in this world to be a little better and recognize that everything happens for a reason, whether I've liked it or not. I am thankful for all the many laughs and fun times we have shared together, because it definitely reminded me that there is so much good in the world.

I am truly grateful for the unforgettable opportunity that I have of volunteering in two different classes this year, at the neighborhood elementary school. It has literally been such an absolute treat for me to get better acquainted with the most incredibly talented & sweet teachers ever this year!!! I am thankful for your patience with me as I continue to learn new things from you both every week & making the best of any new task that you ladies give me to do. I am incredibly grateful for their credit into helping me become the best volunteer that I can be in this world and have really enjoyed being around their students each week. It has definitely been a challenge for me at times to not wish that there was more I could do in just helping them out with this, but I know it makes their days a lot less stressful when I can lend a hand with something they need to have taken care of.

I am grateful for the power of prayer in my life, more than anything in this universe!!! I know it will never fail to strengthen somebody whenever things feel almost unbearable, that heavenly helps make everything better. During this struggling school year for a friend of mine, I have consistently prayed for them multiple times each day as much as I possibly can, because it has already given them a little bit of courage to endure through their struggles to get organized in their classroom. It seems like such a small thing to do for just anybody that we know and love, but it has strengthened me in ways that I never could have expected. I have tried to let this person know that I will never stop praying for them throughout this extraordinary school year and make the best of everything that seems difficult, some what easier in some way if at all possible.

Untitled Post

Over these past several days, I have literally never stopped listening to this powerful and emotional ballad titled Numb by the well loved Utah native, David Archuleta. I am seriously obsessed w/ this fairly not so old single written by him almost a year ago and the message behind it has never left me since I began listening to it over this last weekend. I am completely in love with all of the emotion that he so amazingly well puts into this one song and reminds me that just simply being out in nature, to just immediately become one with yourself especially when times get hard.

I definitely do not have any kind of an idea about this well loved musical artist went through shortly after they returned home from their LDS mission in a foreign country, that he didn't know about whether or not David with trying to get back into the music industry was even close to being the right decision for him to make. I am not necessarily trying to admit that I know much about this particular story at all, but he continued to stay true to himself in everything that happened in his life. I am so amazingly grateful for his example to each one of us about how we can either let things in our lives tear us down or just want to simply teach us something important. This legitimate brand new single of David Archuleta's has consistently been played on iPhone and words cannot even describe how obsessed I am with his angelic voice. It has certainly been a whirlwind of emotions for me to learn lessons that I never wanted to go thru or face at this time in my life, but obviously I didn't think much about it while listening to this powerful song. If you haven't ever thought to listen to a specific song that means a great deal to you in some way... Please don't neglect to re play it over and over as many times you need to in order to feel better about what is got you troubled. It could easily put your self at peace with whatever it is you are struggling to see past or let alone, just needing a very simple life reminder to clear your mind about a problem you have not been able to overcome.

The emotional rawness in these lyrics of this song have definitely reminded me that we can always learn something from the experiences each one of us face on a regular basis. These past couple of months alone during this year, I have listened to so many songs that have strengthened me in ways I could never have even thought to imagine. It has also given me a sense of this escape into another world that nobody else needs to know about and due tot he fact, that I can easily choose for myself whether or not I want to give something a second chance or just try hard to not feel numb.

I have been given my unexpected fair share of experiences this year with unimaginable heartache from someone who I really liked as well as wanted to get to know better, but until I learned the real story behind our relationship-- I needed to immediately get out of it as quickly as I could possible. I may never know or completely understand what it was that David faced in his life during this time period, but I do believe our Heavenly Father works through us and regardless of whatever we are faced with.. He will make it better in his timing. I know that life's never meant to be easy for anyone of us and sometimes we need an extra reminder in what can mold us into better people as well as more disciples of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

I am determined to never loose hope in whatever occurs in my life as the years keep passing by and remind me that it is okay to not have a perfect understanding of why life is such a challenge, but if we didn't have those kind of experiences on this earth- How would we ever recognize that the lord is only helping us to become more like him everyday in whatever it is that we do? I'm truly grateful to know that we can always strive to make each day of our own lives a little more meaningful than the last one, because we might never know when it would be our almost last chance to leave a mark for people to live by.
