Random Story

"Every moment is a fresh beginning."

I've definitely been thinking about what the next step is for my life & somehow I obviously need to look into a possibility with taking classes at Utah Valley University in the fall. Not here to admit this will be an absolute official decision for me at all, but it would really give me opportunities to want to learn more and step out of my comfort zone. I have not necessarily looked closely into what kinds of courses I would see myself wanting to sign up for and feel comfortable with---but who knows?? I'll never know unless I make the effort with being able to try and see if this is something I want to give myself a shot in the real world.

I would really think with having an experience like this, would open up a door of endless possibilities for me to learn new skills and stretch myself in ways that I never have imagined. I really do think this is an opportunity for me to have just even a semester of going to just one class and seeing how much it would benefit me in the long run. One of my dreams throughout the last nine years has been getting a paid position with being a teacher's aide in a classroom and somehow unless I give myself a chance to achieve this goal--- I need to make it a priority once in for all. I am hopeful this could end up being either one of the greatest chances I have ever taken or just simply decide to do something else. It has really given me something to contemplate on and maybe within the next few months, in trying to just figure out what would be the most effective plan for me and sorting through things in order to make it become a reality.

My mom has reminded me that are other ways for me to develop my talents without spending a lot of money and quite frankly I could not in some ways agree with that more. Unless anything happens with any of this at all in the next several months, I will have to do a lot on my part in making this become a real and legitimate goal for myself to see what is there at the university to tackle straight on. Please stay tuned for updates if there is anything I can share with you guys later down the road and unless there is a different opportunity that urges me to give a shot for... I will make sure to let you guys know on here at some point :)

Friends Forever

Tylee,

You and I have only known each other for a brief period of time, but you have influenced me in more ways than one and cannot thank you nearly enough for the legitimate times we shared together along with everyone at the NINJA Conference earlier this month. I am so grateful for your friendship in my life so much and the way you motivated me to always push myself to do the best I can in just almost everything I set my mind to. You were such an absolute gem of a person to get to know & just simply to be around more than anything in this world. I also genuinely cannot thank you nearly enough times for the way you have impacted my life and continuously motivated me to see the good in everything that life has to offer. You are truly such an amazing friend and one of the things I will never forget is when you told me at the dance when we were at NINJA and letting me know this: "It's all going to be okay and we will get through this!!!"

It has literally stuck within me from the moment you said those exact words that it will continue to be alright and no matter what happens, I can always look for lots of positive things in life everyday. Thank you so much for being who you are and not only just being at a disability conference as a Staff, but somebody who I highly consider to be one of my new friends whose example is gonna live within me for many years to come. My life will honestly be never the same again from having gotten the chance to meet and know such an amazing person like you!! You have never ceased to amaze me with your positive attitude and just trying real hard to never give up on what is most important. I truly wish you all the best as you prepare for a new chapter in your life and thanks so much for making an impact on the lives of people with disabilities. You have definitely left an imprint on me that I am forever grateful to have in my life, more than anything and hope both of us can run into each other at some point in time down the road & catch up on stuff.

Enthusiastic

It does feel a little bit uncomfortable for me to be sharing this on here, because I never want to make anyone the center of attention!!! I have definitely been influenced from this person in ways that I can not thank them nearly enough for and despite we have only known each other for a brief time, I have certainly been able to recognize the potential I have in myself to see the positive in my life everyday, if not more often than not. I am so grateful for this amazingly talented, legitimate acquaintance of mine who has never failed to lend a helping hand for people like myself & encouraging them to just always follow their dreams no matter what it takes!!!

Ninja Conference

I'm truly grateful for the privilege I had to return back to my favorite youth leadership conference as one of the mentors. I absolutely loved every single minute of being able to share my positive energy with some of the absolute most legitimate friends I could ever ask for. I really enjoyed getting to not only help in various ways at this conference, but also teaching one of the classes there is definitely a highlight that I will cherish forever. It was such an amazing experience for me to have my own peers see one of their own in a different way that had never been done & I am grateful to have made some kind of an impression on them.

Shout Out:

I've probably done this too much-- but I cannot even begin to express the gratitude & appreciation that I have for all of our legitimate staff who was there with us. All of them are not just only there doing their important jobs that they do on a regular basis, but I would definitely consider most of them to be my closest friends. I can honestly admit each of them continues to play some kind of a significant role in my life and never fail to make me smile or remind me that I can do hard things- regardless of whatever that is. I just want to thank all of you for the friendships that we share with each other and will continue on for many years down the road.

Favorite Conference Highlights:

- Spending quality time with all of the legitimate staff and participants we had there all week long. I am so incredibly grateful for the dedicated, hard-working, friendly, helpful people that you are and will forever be as many more years quickly pass on.

- Staying up late into the evening hours and laughing till my heart was tired!!! No kidding if you ask me... I could go on forever about this!!! :)

- The Flying Squirrel (Pretty much speaks for itself and it is the most legitimate high activity ever on this planet!!!)

- Became friends with everyone there and definitely made memories that will stick with me for the rest of my summer vacation.

- Enjoyed some delicious and refreshing Aggie Ice Cream on the Quad with everybody on the grass, not to mention played some of the most legitimate Aggie games ever!!!

- Danced my heart out as much as I could possible with everyone and can only hope to do it again in the future!!! (Fingers Crossed)

- Teaching one of the classes at this conference was one of the most unforgettable moments for me in ways that I could not even describe into words. I really liked having all of my friends at this disability conference see me in a professional way and if I could do it all over again--- I would not hesitate with being able to say YES!!! Did I forget to mention that I was also one of the Keynote Speakers?!?!? So much more about this later on in a different blog post to come.
