Temple To Temple Run 2019:

Obviously... None of my family or I chose to run in this event, but getting to be a part of it among thousands of people was such a treat in more ways than one. I am grateful for those who sacrificed much so that I could be here and live the gospel of Jesus Christ, here on this earth. I know all of the many circumstances and trials they faced were unimaginable to what we have today... but for me to have been a small part of this walk/run event was just a short glimpse into what those early saints-- literally had to put their faith into each day, motivated me to keep walking forward. I could've just easily given up and not participated along with the other thousands of people, who gave it their all regardless of what was going on around them. This was definitely an incredible experience that I'll cherish forever and look back on with a smile, knowing that it was difficult-- but not impossible if you ask me!!!

After what I've blogged on here from the last year and a half, I know my life has not been the easiest at times or happiest for me either-- but this event is something I really needed. It opened up my heart into the fact, no matter how extremely difficult I've had to endure through barriers that no one should have to put themselves into or deal with. It certainly gave me a sense of perspective that no matter what I'm dealing with in my life, I know that I will turn out be alright in the end. Maybe I'll never know what it was like for those early saints to have faced some of the most unfathomable things and yet having needed to be a part of this event showed me that I can do hard things. If you must know... I wouldn't have experienced all of those hardships alone without the help of my Savior, Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father every single step of the way!!!

Family Reunion 2019:

Not about this has happened yet--- but I am determined in making a lot of new memories with family and getting to catch up with each other as much as possible. I have always loved getting to enjoy just being away from the craziness of what is going on and escaping into a little piece of Heaven on earth, if you know what I mean?!?! :)

Final Preparation:

I'll make sure to write up about the event itself after returning back home & having a little extra time on my hands. I am thrilled for one of the most unforgettable experiences in my life and sharing it w/ so many other amazing young women across the united states. The official plan is to get my stuff all put into my suitcase next Monday and making sure I don't leave any of the important stuff behind. It has certainly given me a lot of stuff to think about over these past few months and hopefully can just give this all my best regardless in whatever the results are!!!

Bountiful Parade

LAST NIGHT--- Me along with the other extraordinary 2019 Utah Miss Amazing Queens were asked to be a part of this unforgettable event held in Bountiful. I absolutely loved every single minute with getting to smile and wave at thousands of spectators along the parade route!!! It was truly one of the most amazing experiences ever and not to mention keeping it together, despite all of the very intense summer weather that we had-- but I was able to make the best of the situation. I especially liked when at one point during the event one of my cousins, who I don't necessarily see too often was out there in the crowd & unexpectedly yelled out my name!!! I absolutely loved being able to be one of the many highlights during that parade and quite frankly... It would have been really nice to have spent a brief period of time with them. It really meant so much to me having them out there in the crowd & with not having known anything about me being in the parade, I definitely felt a little extra special having at least someone else I am close to.

Shortly after the parade concluded, We needed to head out in quite a hurry for us to arrive at the concert going on for the 24th of July celebrations at the conference center. It was truly an absolute treat getting to listen to uplifting music and being inspired by the messages that were briefly shared from the phenomenal guest artist.

Favorite Parade Highlights:

- All of us were able to spend quality time visiting with the newly crowned, Miss Utah 2019 and just getting to know her a little bit more was an experience I'll cherish forever!!! I loved being able to take pictures with her and sharing the excitement we have for the upcoming National Miss Amazing event that takes place in less than a week!!! :)

- Getting to see my family out in the crowd was an absolute treat and having their support throughout my reign has certainly helped me through so much. I loved being able to participate in this event and sharing the spirit of what the 24th holiday is about with thousands of people all over Bountiful. They were amazing to have endured the intense heat outside in the middle of July & keeping the brightest smiles on their faces was nothing short of incredible!!!

Special Day

YESTERDAY--- was definitely one of the most legitimate birthdays ever and there is no question in my mind about that. I have truly loved getting to feel so much heartfelt love and best wishes from all my friends/family over social media. I was able to go swimming at our local recreation center as well as going on some of the water slides, which I typically never think to do because I am not sure why to be honest with you right now!!!

Here are some of the other highlights that happened yesterday and I will admit that most of them will be ones that I will cherish forever:

- Afterwards, We returned back home along with visits from neighbors and friends throughout the afternoon. I cannot even begin to think of what I did to deserve their gifts in behalf of my special day... but it truly reminded me that I have so many remarkable people who continuously love and support each other in anyway possible. Thank you all so much for being some of the greatest if I'll admit some of the most extraordinary people that anyone like myself, could ever ask for!!!

- Went out to dinner at the only restaurant my twin sister and I love so much... Texas Roadhouse!!! I also enjoyed getting spend time with my older sister, her husband and my cute little niece. We had an amazing visit with them and getting to be together was definitely an adventure as it always turns out to be. Luckily, We ended up arriving early that none of us had to wait long and were able to get all of us seated quite easily before the crowds got there!!!

- Opened up all of my wonderful presents from my mom and older sister, alongside we got to have ice cream cake for dessert which I will admit is probably one of the best things ever!! I loved every single moment of this special day and it is definitely one that I will never see myself let go of any time soon.

Craziness

#ThreeWeeksAndCounting
There is absolutely no reason for me to feel in such a panic mode over the fact, I haven't done much of any preparation with attending the 2019 National Miss Amazing event in three weeks. I know it's all gonna work out in the end somehow and everything will immediately fall into place, eventually if not sooner than later. I am confident there will be a lot more realistic information to share afterwards when I return back home and can make an effort with trying to update you all, on how everything will turn out. With this being my first time ever... I am not even certain about what it is they are needing to look for in a National Representative and hoping more than ever to make a good impression. I cannot wait to share this unforgettable journey with the other Utah Miss Amazing Representatives who I am more than positive will put their best selves out on that stage and make it an experience that none of them will ever forget.

#BigBangTheoryNostalgia
How have you ever not watched a sitcom and not felt a little bit of emotional nostalgia from it?! It's only been a couple of months since this legitimate show ended & literally cannot wish it would just come back in an quick second... but I cannot make that happen in real life unfortunately. I know this sitcom will forever have a special spot in my heart and one that is never gonna be replaced any time if you know what I mean?!

#SummerDanceSportChallenge2019

This is one of the most legitimate times during my summer break and getting an opportunity to dance in a competition with my best friends!!! I have definitely grown so much from this experience & just being able to focus on the aspect of having fun alongside the greatest people you could ever possibly imagine!!!

It has really given me an opportunity to find the joy in dancing ballroom in such an incredible place where dance is very well known among lots of people. A little bit more on this when it does actually gets slightly closer and there are so many more stories to tell, So please stay tuned for all of them!!!!!
